The wait is finally over, Dierks Bentley’s Whiskey Row opened its doors on Tuesday in Gilbert’s Heritage District.

The new location is celebrating its opening with a free live concert on Thursday, March 16. Grammy-nominated artist Kelsea Ballerini will be playing a show for fans and patrons as part of the Budweiser Spring Fever Pitch annual event for Spring Training.

The location was initially slated to open in late February, but was pushed back to this month.

“When we opened our first Whiskey Row three years ago, I never would have guessed we’d be three bars in, in three years,” Bentley said. “The Riot group and I have spent a lot of time making sure each Whiskey Row is our version of the perfect place to listen to music, watch a game or grab some great food and drinks. The vibe is really unique and special, and it’s awesome to see so many people enjoying themselves at Whiskey Row.”

The 8,700-square-foot restaurant includes a large outdoor patio with space for outdoor games like cornhole and ping-pong, an outside dance floor with a stage inside and large windows facing downtown.

At the new location, live music will be played on the weekends and there are be over 50 beers on tap and TVs throughout the venue. The restaurant includes a menu that is 30 percent larger than other Whiskey Row locations.

“This Class A restaurant was developed using best-in-class construction featuring reclaimed woods and steel, with an emphasis on high ceilings and natural light, giving the restaurant the feeling of an old barn or trading post,” said Ryan Hibbert, CEO of Riot Hospitality Group, the management company behind Dierks Bentley’s Whiskey Row..

A fourth Whiskey Row is planned to open in Nashville this summer.
